Some independent research has determined that eggs from chickens that get a wide variety of natural foods are healthier than caged mega mart eggs.

 

We feed our girls fresh greens, scrapes from our homemade whole grain breads, natural scratch feeds and organic laying mash.

 

Unfortunately we are forced to coop our girls due to hawks, foxes, and other critters that also enjoy the taste of chicken. They do have a very large coop with plenty of room to do what chickens do.
